Chicagoland Homeschooling Calendar
This calendar is for homeschoolers from all groups in and around Chicago to list their classes, events and repeat activities. Please be sure to include contact information and all important details as well as links to more information. Young Stateswoman Society club forming in near west burbs!
Who: Girls ages 9-12
What: Club that will study great stateswomen in early American History through living books, activities, and projects.
When: 1-2 times per month, 1-2 hours on Friday afternoons for the school year, starting in September (probably. dependent on availability of those interested)
Where: my home in north Berwyn
Why: To provide an environment where girls can learn virtue, leadership, and courage.
Cost: $25 per girl for the entire year
I highly recommend that anyone interested in this group reads “A Thomas Jefferson Education” by Oliver DeMille. While this is a non-sectarian group, TJEd (Thomas Jefferson Education) does have a “moral code/faith” component.
