Spertus offers open-to-the-public certificate workshops taught by Dr. Karin Baird, Advisor, Faculty Chair, and Acting Director for the Spertus Master of Science in Nonprofit Management degree program. Dr. Baird has been teaching nonprofit professionals at Spertus for more than 10 years, sharing her own considerable experience in the nonprofit arena.
If you are an educator looking for funding, this day-long workshop is for you. It focuses on grantwriting fundamentals geared to K-12 student needs in both public and private educational settings, including after-school programs, arts programming, faith-based initiatives for youth, and more. The workshop will include information on how to locate appropriate private, foundation, faith-based, and government grants, as well as the skills you need to have your grants rise to the top.
Limited class size. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees receive a certificate of completion. $149.00
